Featured projects
A3RTE
A3RTE is the first art accelerator in Aragón. Promoted by Impact Hub Zaragoza and ENATE, this project supports a curator and four artists through a 10-month acceleration process. The overall objective is to promote culture and art as a strategic sector in the community.
Acelera
Acelera Startups, an acceleration program for entrepreneurial projects financed with Next Generation funds from the European Union (within the Spanish Government’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan), is promoted by the Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI). Impact Hub and mentorDay collaborate to accelerate projects focused on the ecosystems of energy and ecological transition, agri-food, and culture and tourism.
‘BORA Mulheres
Since 2019, the ‘BORA Mulheres program has supported more than 1,000 women in launching their businesses in Portugal. Created by Coca-Cola, ‘BORA is developed annually, both in Portugal and Spain. It is an immersive capacity building program, exclusively for women founders.
Eraldalan
Space for meeting, learning and connection to drive organizational transformation towards a competitive and sustainable model. The program is based on the Living Systems Theory and 6 categories of the OATS model, which connect people, processes and the purpose of the organization. It includes organizational self-diagnosis, coaching and professional meetings. With the support of the Department of Economic Promotion, Tourism and Rural Environment of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa.
Impact School
Escola de Impacto was created by Impact Hub Lisboa to promote the reintegration of people into the labor market, using impact entrepreneurship as a tool for social transformation. Whether through the creation of a new business or training to find a new job, our goal is to improve employability in Portugal. Escola de Impacto started in 2017 and now offers two training courses, Inspira-te and Relança-te, training more than 60 people each year.
Women’s GIRA
The objective of this program to support female entrepreneurship promoted by Coca-Cola is to train and educate women from all over Spain. The training itinerary is focused on women entrepreneurs who need to turn their business around in order to move forward. In addition, a Community of female entrepreneurs is set up and energized among the participants.
Glovo Start
The “Learning to be an entrepreneur” program aims to introduce riders to entrepreneurship as a viable option for their personal and professional development, with training and inspirational and networking sessions. To date, it has been implemented in 10 cities around the world where Glovo and Impact Hub are present: Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Milan, Belgrade, Bucharest, Tbilisi, Almati, Accra and Abidjan.
Ecosystem Development, Sustainability
A space of impulse that brings together all the transforming agents of the city of Malaga: academia, companies, administrations and citizens. A mobilization event was developed, a co-creation workshop was held and a roadmap was designed with the necessary actions to consolidate the Sustainability Hub.
Impact Measurement
Impact Hub Barcelona has carried out the planning, creation and implementation of the impact measurement of the collaboration between Angelini Pharma and Banco Farmacéutico to tangibilize the results of the union and build a standardized measurement in the future.
Impact Ecosystem Index
The Iberia network has developed this proprietary tool, which defines, measures and establishes a ranking of impact entrepreneurship ecosystems in Spain. The index gathers information from more than 130 data sources and reports, with a multidisciplinary analysis perspective that provides an x-ray to promote impact ecosystems. In this way, it offers a strategic tool for decision making to the entire network of impact entrepreneurship in Spain.
Nhood Sustainability
Advice and support to a team of employees of the real estate company Nhood to begin their journey towards BCorp certification. This collaboration is extended to help them adapt and implement the global corporate sustainability strategy in Spain. Finally, an Action Plan was drawn up to consolidate the company’s progress in terms of sustainability and impact under a single umbrella.
Oleku and Circular Connections
Program aimed at “activating circular realities” at the corporate level. We seek to generate work and reflection spaces as well as innovative tools and solutions in organizations. Oleku is the first toolkit that approaches circular innovation in companies from four places: the person, intra-entrepreneurial teams, business strategy and community learning. With the support of the Department of Economic Promotion, Tourism and Rural Environment of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa.
Powercoders
Programming academy for the education and training of refugees and vulnerable groups that promotes equal employment opportunities in addition to providing talent to meet the current high demand in the IT sector. Developed by Impact Hub Madrid with the financial support of Fundación Reale and Globant.
Talent Bridges
Program launched by Madrid Innovation, of the Madrid City Council, to promote the exchange of entrepreneurial and research talent with Latin America and boost Madrid’s innovative ecosystem. Impact Hub Madrid designs a specialized training itinerary with the support of the Instituto de Empresa (IE), and an agenda of visits and meetings with organizations in Madrid’s business and technology scene with the support of MIDE.
Raíz
Raíz is an incubation program that helps startups integrate the circular economy into their business model and value propositions. The program boosts impact startups by developing the skills, connections and confidence needed to go to market. Designed by Impact Hub Barcelona and supported by Mava Foundation.
React!
The objective of this European Erasmus Plus program has been the creation of educational content aimed at professionals working with young people around the circular economy, entrepreneurship and personal development in order to inspire and offer professional alternatives to young Europeans.
RegenERA Local
RegenERA local is an international hybrid event that connects and activates the entrepreneurial ecosystem to boost local regenerative development. It is a project designed and implemented by Impact Hub Madrid with The Social Circle as a local partner, and subsidized by EOI. In addition to being a face-to-face meeting in Santander, the format will be replicated virtually in 40 locations around the world.
Healthy Route for SMEs
Mental health awareness program for SMEs. Throughout various meetings, the aim was to raise awareness of the need to manage psychosocial risks and promote mental health at work. Affor Health and Impact Hub Malaga organized 8 online events in different locations of the international network.
Small But Perfect
Small But Perfect is an accelerator program that supports European SMEs in launching new circular solutions for the fashion industry. Participating projects receive a €10,000 grant, training with industry and university experts, one-on-one mentoring, R&D funding and participation in networking and presentation events. The project is a pan-European partnership supported by the European Commission.
The Break
Program to attract female entrepreneurial talent developed by Impact Hub Madrid together with the EOI and financed by Next Generation Funds to promote acceleration, collaboration and local development. After two editions, a total of almost 1,000 European women have enjoyed a one-month stay in various provinces of the country, where they develop their projects and contribute ideas to solve local challenges.
Regenerative Tourism
The Catalan Tourism Agency asked Impact Hub Barcelona to design and dynamize a stand at the B-Travel Fair dedicated to regenerative tourism, in line with the commitment and work that has been carried out in recent years in this area. It was an immersive experience and a program to involve visitors in the transformative power of the regenerative look, both for oneself and for the environment around us.
U.Lab
Course aimed at personal and collective transformation, based on the principles of Theory U (Otto Scharmer) and its tools. A process of entrepreneurship, personal development, connection and social innovation, in which we work from the presence and open will towards the future that emerges. We accompany it with the online training offered by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), in synchrony with more than 700 people globally who join the same process.
Ze-laia!
A space for cultivation, training and mentoring dedicated to people with entrepreneurial initiatives and new ways of doing business in harmony with the planet. Participants devise and materialize their professional proposal for 3 months, accompanied by mentors and sharing the experience with the group. This impact entrepreneurship program has been developed with the support of the Department of Economic Promotion, Tourism and Rural Environment of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa.
Zurich Klinc
Consulting project for the insurance company that is considering how to incorporate sustainability in a transversal way to its business lines, so that it becomes an identifying factor in the company’s DNA and in the relationship with its customers. Impact Hub Barcelona helped to create a transversal sustainability strategy for the company, a narrative and to design a series of initiatives around sustainability.
